ABOUT / BIO

I’ve been in the event management industry for over six (6) months, the automotive sales industry for over six (6) years, the baking industry for a little over four (4) years, computer/I.T industry for sixteen (16) years and an administrator for close to three (3) decades. Since May 2022, I've been work remotely as a Project Administrator (on contract) for a particular project at one of Jamaica's leading event management company. Prior to that, as the first employee of a car dealership, I served as the Office Manager for four years, then Facilities & Purchasing Manager for over two years. My past experiences as HR & Admin Manager, Executive Assistant, Executive Administrator, Retail Supervisor, Sales Assistant, Accounts Receivable Coordinator and Acting in number of positions has broadened my scope of knowledge. Some achievements: • As Office Manager & first employee - solely administered regulatory compliances/certifications, recruitment and employment of staff, development and implementation of Human Resources and Administration policies and procedures, purchase/coordination of adequate flow of equipment, materials and services, only six (6) months after business setup - coordinated Showroom (2nd location) buildout & setup within four (4) months, identified and coordinated setup of Bond Store - almost two (2) years later repeated the process of a new location and coordinated relocation within 2 months, managed compliance, operations, maintenance, purchasing, I.T and security management. • As Facilities & Purchasing Manager - oversee construction project for over 2 years. Coordinated relocation of Service Centre & Showroom to newly built facilities. I pride myself on being very supportive, following through and doing my utmost best to meet deadlines.
