OB DESCRIPTION
1) Cooking Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes as Chef and customers specify.
-Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions.
-Handle dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
2) Menu Planning and Ordering:
-Plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs.
-Monitor and order supplies, ensuring proper organization of working tools and preparation of dish elements.
3) Kitchen Management:
-Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
-Follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef.
-Coordinate timing of dish completion with other cooks.
4)Food Safety and Cleanliness:
-Mark and date all stored food.
-Clean kitchen and work areas.
-Perform duties by Ontario Health and Safety Standards.
