Position: Concrete Finishers

Type of Contract: Full-time – Seasonal / 6-7 months
Salary: $30 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Completion of secondary school.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the trade OR completion of a two- to four-year apprenticeship program.
Preferred experience with Skid steer or excavator.
Driver’s license is an asset.Benefits:

THEREFORE MUST BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

-High school diploma or equivalent certificate
-Employment verification letters or contracts indicating at least 3 years / 36 months of experience in the trade
-Copy of a valid driver's license or driving permit
-Passport

RESPONSIBILITIES

Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
Smooth freshly poured concrete by filling hollows and removing high spots.
Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.
Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.
Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads, and other concrete structures.
Important Experience:

Pouring concrete for various projects such as bus stop concrete forms, integrated sidewalks, parking lots, drainage planning, residential curbs, and sidewalks.

Flexible schedule required.
Shifts available Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturdays 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on client needs
