Job Details
Position: Laundry Worker
Location: Motel & Lodge located in South on Cape Cod in Barnstable County
Duration: 04/01/2025-11/15/2025
Schedule: 36 hours p/week, 6 days p/week, days may vary
Shift: 9:30am-3:30pm (one shift)
Pay: $17.64 p/hour or $26.46 p/hour for overtime as it may be available
Responsibilities:
- - to operate and tend washing machines to wash/dry motel cloth garments, blankets, and towels.
- - collect dirty laundry from guest rooms, sort, wash, and fold sheets and towels, restock maid closets with sheets and towels as well as clean dryer vents and clean laundry room.
Requirements:
- - No education or prior work experience is required.
- - On-the-job training is provided.
Additional Info:
- - Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
- - Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide
workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
- - Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Wednesday (weekly) by company check.
- - H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $195 p/week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period.
- - Housing is optional.
