Position: Maids and Housekeeping Cleaners

Location: Motel & Lodge located in South on Cape Cod in Barnstable County

Duration: 04/01/2025-11/15/2025

Schedule: 36 hours p/week, 6 days p/week, days may vary

Shift: 9:30am-3:30pm (one shift) 

Pay: $20.35 p/hour or $30.53 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • - perform a combination of cleaning duties, to specific standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the motel including: making beds
  • - replenishing linens and toiletry items, cleaning rooms and common areas, vacuuming, dusting
  • - emptying trash from guest rooms, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms. 

 

Requirements:

  • - No education or prior work experience is required. 
  • - On the job training is provided. 

 

Additional Information:

  • - Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment

period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. 

  • - Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. 
  •  
  • - The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Wednesday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. 
  •  
  • - All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $195 p/week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period.

  • - Housing is optional. 
  •  
  • - No transportation is provided to worksite.
