Ophthalmologist Vacancy
VE Medical is seeking a qualified Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team in St. Lucia.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ophthalmologist to focus on clinical care while learning and assisting with our experienced ophthalmic surgery team.

• Key Responsibilities
  -Provide clinical care for a wide range of eye conditions
• -Assist and participate in ophthalmic surgical procedures
• -Opportunity to further develop surgical skills, including oculoplastics, retinal, and cataract surgeries
• -Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, optometrists, and support staff

• Our Facilities Include
• Comprehensive on-site diagnostic equipment
• Treatments and surgeries for:
• -Glaucoma (including Preserflo)
• -Diabetic Retinopathy (Iridex laser and Vabysmo injections)
• -Corneal Cross-Linking
• -Pterygiums and minor surgery
• -Phaco cataract surgery and full retinal surgeries with a fully equipped Vitreo-Retinal surgery suite
• -Full Optometry team covering general eye care
• -On-site Pharmacy and Blood Diagnostic Clinic

• Candidate Requirements
  -Qualified Ophthalmologist with appropriate documentation to register with the St. Lucia Medical Council
• -Excellent spoken English (native English speaker, or TOEFL/English proficiency if applicable)
• -Enthusiastic, personable, and committed to patient care
• -Ability to manage a broad range of visual problems
• -MPS, work permit, and medical license will be organized and funded by VE Medical
