Sweet Craft Limited is a leading Jamaican manufacturer of plastic bottles and packaging. We supply quality products to businesses across the island, and we are looking for an experienced, results-driven Production Team Lead to join our team.

About the Role
The Production Team Lead leads production activities on an assigned shift. The role ensures our products are made safely, on schedule, to specification and at minimum cost. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be the key link between management and the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the production schedule, allocating machines, materials and personnel to meet daily targets
• Monitor blow molding, printing, labelling and packing lines, and take immediate corrective action on shortfalls
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and Company quality standards
• Enforce safety rules, including PPE use, machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures
• Supervise, coach and evaluate Production Attendants and Assistant Team Leads
• Manage shift rosters, attendance, overtime and discipline in line with Company policy
• Control material usage and reduce scrap, rework and downtime
• Prepare accurate shift reports and conduct structured shift handovers

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role
• Experience in plastics manufacturing (PET/blow molding) is a strong asset
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is an asset
• Working knowledge of occupational safety and health practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
