1. About E-JAM Jobs

E-JAM Jobs is an online platform that connects jobseekers (including freelancers) with employers in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. We provide tools for job searching, applications, talent discovery, and hiring.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use E-JAM Jobs. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Jobseeker Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date
• Your profile and information may be visible to registered employers on the platform
• You may control your availability status ("Open to Work") from your profile settings
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume, skills, and experience

4. Employer Accounts

• Employers may search for and view jobseeker profiles
• Full contact details of jobseekers require the use of credits, which can be purchased on the platform
• Employers may not use jobseeker contact information for any purpose other than legitimate hiring
• Employers may post job listings that comply with all applicable employment laws

5. Credits and Payments

• Credits are purchased to unlock full applicant profiles and contact details
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Credits are non-refundable once used to unlock a profile
• Unused credits may be subject to our refund policy — contact support for details

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, spam, or contact users for non-hiring purposes
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content
• Attempt to circumvent the credit system to access contact details
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Verified Badge

The "Verified" badge is awarded to jobseekers who have completed the E-JAM verification process. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of the individual's qualifications.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the E-JAM Jobs platform, including logos, design, and software, is owned by E-JAM Jobs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

9. Disclaimer

E-JAM Jobs is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of job listings, or the suitability of any candidate. We are not responsible for the conduct of employers or jobseekers on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, E-JAM Jobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, without prior notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
