I recently completed my tenure at the University of the West Indies where I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Food Chemistry and a double minor in General Chemistry and Psychology. I am an assiduous individual who is very responsible and highly dependable. I have the ability to adapt to any environment or situation in which I am placed, an asset of mine I take pride in having. Additionally, I have excellent problem solving, time management, organizational and communication skills-both written and verbal. My degree was mostly chemistry based and as such, I have gotten both practical and theoretical exposure to areas such as Organic, Inorganic, Food and even Analytical Chemistry. Based on the description of these roles, I believe that these areas are key to completing the tasks that will be given. Along with my degree, I have also been involved in different societies at the university including the UWI Chemical Society, the University Dance Society, the Cultural and External Affairs Committee of the UWI Mona Guild and I held the position of a peer mentor in my faculty-the Faculty of Science and Technology. This information serves as proof that I am a very rounded individual. In the work environment, I am a very fast learner who works with the highest level of professionalism. I always aim to complete any task or activity given to me to the best of my ability and with utmost integrity, and these are assets I believe that are important in the work environment. I am currently working as an administrative assistant for a Jamaican financial association as well as the personal assistant for a unit manager and financial advisor of insurance company Sagicor. As such, I have experience in customer service and well as other administrative work such as generating reports.
