I have been working since I have reached the age that teenagers can start working in Jamaica. I started i. The summer of 2018 with the NIS at the Princess Margaret Hospital as a receptionist in the radiology department. I started university the following September. In Summer 2019 I went and started working again with NIS but this time in a loan industry(Torpedo Micro Loan Financing) and then that same summer I got an opportunity to work at the Ministry of Justice as the procurement officer assistant this was a great opportunity because procurement is a field I can use my degree in. September started and I continued university and also worked with my university as the nurse assistant. 2021 I traveled to the United States of America on the J1 Work and Travel program as a lifeguard and also worked at Fedex Ground. 2022, my final year in university, I traveled again to the United States still being a lifeguard but working with Giantfoods as an overnight stocker. I really appreciate these work experiences because they if me the opportunity to know how working with others with different perspectives feel like and to also develop my thinking and skills.
